Introduction
A modern primary and urgent care clinic in Greenwood Village, Colorado is seeking a Medical Director to lead its clinical team and shape the continued growth of the practice. This is a leadership opportunity within a progressive model that blends general practice with urgent care, offering a varied caseload and the autonomy to influence clinical standards, team culture, and overall direction of the hospital.

Working Hours / Rota
The clinic operates 8:00am to 8:00pm, 365 days a year, with this role typically working 3 to 4 days per week across 10 or 12 hour shifts, including a shared weekend rota, providing flexibility and a sustainable schedule without overnight or on-call responsibilities.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As Medical Director, you will lead the clinical team while continuing to practice medicine, delivering a mix of general practice and urgent care services, mentoring veterinarians and nursing staff, driving clinical standards and protocols, and playing a key role in shaping the culture, performance, and long-term success of the clinic.

Practice Details
The clinic offers a blend of preventative care and same-day urgent care services, supported by a structured workflow that includes longer appointment times, strong triage processes, and a skilled nursing team, allowing for thorough case management, efficient patient flow, and high-quality client communication.

You will work alongside a well-trained and continuously developing team of veterinarians and nursing staff, within a culture that prioritises collaboration, mentorship, and continuous improvement, creating an environment where both clinical and leadership growth are actively supported.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
