Job Description
Introduction
A well-established animal hospital in Grants Pass, Oregon is seeking a dedicated Medical Director to lead its team of four veterinarians. With a strong reputation for professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable care, this practice offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader to guide a collaborative and supportive team. This role includes a generous annual Medical Director stipend and no weekend or on-call responsibilities, ensuring a rewarding work-life balance.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on weekends and all major holidays. The Medical Director will typically work three to four days per week, balancing clinical care with leadership responsibilities.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will provide high-quality medical care while guiding clinical protocols and supporting the professional growth of the veterinary team. Key responsibilities include performing routine and advanced veterinary procedures, mentoring associates, maintaining the highest standards of patient care, and fostering a positive, collaborative workplace culture.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
