Introduction
Our client is a hospital that is hiring a Medical Director on a full-time basis. Caring for dogs and cats, this established practice has been serving the community for over 30 years. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to lead a well-supported team while continuing to practice high-quality medicine in a collaborative environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves the full scope of Medical Director responsibilities, combining clinical practice with leadership, mentorship, and oversight of medical standards within the hospital. The successful candidate will help guide the veterinary team, support continued clinical excellence, and contribute to the ongoing success of the practice. The schedule includes rotating weekends when needed and is suited to an experienced veterinarian looking to take on a leadership role.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm. Services include a full scope of GP services, Advanced Dental Care, and Orthopedic Surgery, providing a varied and rewarding caseload. The practice is equipped with, but not limited to, ultrasound, Digital X-Ray, Digital Dental X-Ray, Tonopen technology, and an In-House Laboratory. Facilities include an Intensive Care Unit, an In-Office Surgical Suite, and an In-House Pharmacy. The hospital is AAHA-accredited and committed to using Fear Free techniques whenever possible. Additional services include Cryosurgery, Oxygen Therapy, and Transfusion Therapy.

Team
You will be joining a team of 2 DVMs supported by 8 dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. The hospital is led by a supportive leadership team focused on the success and well-being of its associates, fostering a collaborative culture built on teamwork, communication, and professional growth.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
