Introduction
Our client is a hospital that is hiring a Medical Director on a full-time basis. Caring for cats and dogs, this well-established practice has been serving the community for over 30 years. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to take on a leadership position within a respected hospital that is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining high clinical standards.

Role Description and Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include providing high-quality medical care, overseeing clinical standards, mentoring and supporting the veterinary team, and helping to ensure exceptional patient and client experiences. Rotating weekends may be required when needed. This role is suited to an experienced veterinarian seeking the opportunity to combine clinical practice with leadership responsibilities while contributing to the continued success and growth of the hospital.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The practice provides a full scope of GP services alongside Urgent Care, Advanced Dental Care, Orthopedics, and Cryosurgery, creating a diverse and rewarding caseload. The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic technology including, but not limited to, Tonopen, Ultrasound, In-House Lab, Digital X-Ray, and Digital Dental X-Ray equipment. Facilities include Hands-Free Radiology, an Intensive Care Unit, an In-Office Surgical Suite, and an In-House Pharmacy. The practice is AAHA-accredited and committed to using fear-free techniques whenever possible, demonstrating its dedication to maintaining the highest standards of veterinary medicine and patient care. In addition to its core GP services, the hospital also offers pet behavioural and nutritional counselling as well as Oxygen and Transfusion Therapy, allowing it to provide comprehensive support for patients and clients.

Team
You will join a team of 2 DVMs supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. Doctors, technicians, and client service professionals work seamlessly together to provide outstanding care, trusted communication, and the best possible outcomes for pets and their families.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
