Job Description
A small animal practice in Dover, Delaware is seeking a Medical Director to join and lead a dedicated team in a newly renovated facility. This is an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian who is passionate about both medicine and leadership, and who is looking to shape the future of veterinary care in a supportive and well-resourced environment. The practice is staffed by a collaborative and experienced team that includes two full-time veterinarians, credentialed veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, client service specialists, a hospital manager, and groomers. The clinic is equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical tools, including ultrasound, digital radiography, hands-free x-ray, and a ligasure system. The hospital serves only cats and dogs, providing both sick and wellness care in a setting that prioritizes teamwork, client relationships, and patient well-being. Flexible full-time or part-time scheduling is available, with hours of operation from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The hospital is closed on weekends, supporting a strong work-life balance.
