A modern veterinary hospital in Denver, Colorado is seeking a Medical Director to lead its primary and urgent care team. Working Hours / Rota
The clinic provides primary and urgent care services extended hours throughout the week, open until 8:00pm and operating year-round. The role follows a structured shift model built around 12-hour shifts with varied scheduling, allowing strong clinical coverage without overnight or on-call responsibilities.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will combine hands-on veterinary medicine with leadership responsibilities. The role includes delivering high-quality primary and urgent care services while overseeing clinical protocols, mentoring veterinarians and technicians, and supporting the development of a strong medical team. Responsibilities include guiding case management, maintaining high clinical standards, coaching team members through daily collaboration, and working with leadership teams to improve workflows and operational performance. The position also involves helping shape clinic culture and contributing to the expansion of a modern veterinary care model.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
