An exciting practice ownership opportunity is available for an experienced veterinarian looking to become both an Owner and Medical Director in the Littleton, Colorado area. Rather than starting a hospital from scratch, this role offers the chance to partner in the acquisition of an established companion animal practice, preserving its local identity while shaping its future. Role Description and Responsibilities
As Owner and Medical Director, you’ll divide your time between delivering high-quality companion animal medicine and leading the strategic direction of the practice. You’ll establish and uphold clinical standards, mentor veterinarians and support staff, oversee medical quality, and foster a collaborative, patient-focused culture. Working alongside an experienced operational team, you’ll also contribute to business planning, hospital growth, recruitment, scheduling, and community engagement while maintaining the autonomy to make clinical decisions that are right for your patients and team.

This opportunity centres around the acquisition of an established companion animal hospital in the Littleton area, providing the stability of an existing client base while offering significant scope to shape its future direction. As a co-owner, you’ll benefit from comprehensive operational support covering HR, finance, marketing, recruitment, and business administration, allowing you to focus on medicine and leadership. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
