Our client is a hospital looking to hire a full-time Lead Veterinarian. This well-established practice provides comprehensive veterinary care for cats, dogs, exotics, pocket pets, and rabbits, and has earned an excellent 4.8-star Google rating. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to step into a leadership role within a collaborative team while helping to maintain exceptional standards of patient care and client service.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of Lead Veterinarian responsibilities. As the Medical Lead Veterinarian, you will be the champion of medical excellence within the hospital, mentoring and developing associate veterinarians while partnering with the Practice Manager to build a healthy and engaged team. You will drive the continuous improvement of patient care and client service, setting the standard for clinical quality and fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth. Specific working hours will be discussed further. The practice is seeking a veterinarian with a minimum of two years of practical clinical experience for this leadership opportunity.

Practice Details
The practice provides the full scope of General Practice services alongside Urgent Care, offering a varied caseload across multiple species. The hospital is equipped with, but not limited to, Digital Radiology, a Tonopen, and Ultrasound, supporting advanced diagnostics and patient care. The practice is AAHA-certified, reflecting its commitment to maintaining high standards of veterinary medicine. In addition to its core services, the hospital also provides Acupuncture, Laser Therapy, and Traditional Chinese Medicine, allowing for a comprehensive approach to patient care. The hospital is open Monday from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Wednesday from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays.

Team
You will be joining a team of 6 DVMs, supported by 20 dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who genuinely care about delivering exceptional patient care. The leadership team is invested in helping its veterinarians succeed, creating a collaborative environment where communication, teamwork, and professional growth are part of everyday practice. It is a supportive team that works together to provide outstanding care while maintaining a positive and enjoyable workplace.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
