Our client is a hospital seeking a Medical Director to join its team on a full-time basis. The hospital provides care for cats and dogs and enjoys a steady and consistently booked client base. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian looking to combine clinical excellence with medical leadership in a thriving practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will lead by example clinically while balancing an active caseload with the responsibilities of medical leadership. Responsibilities include performing high-quality medicine and surgery, mentoring veterinarians and support staff, building strong client relationships, and partnering with hospital leadership to foster a collaborative and successful culture. The ideal candidate understands the importance of developing those around them and is committed to elevating the performance of the entire team. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian. The wider hospital network also provides access to leadership training resources and mentorship programs designed to support professional growth and career advancement.

Practice Details
The hospital provides comprehensive primary care, preventative medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and select urgent care services. The facility features four exam rooms, a spacious surgical suite, two dedicated dental stations, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, in-house laboratory capabilities, and a newly installed ultrasound system that creates opportunities for future growth and expanded services. Hospital hours are Monday through Saturday from 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Team
The hospital currently has 1 DVM supported by a great team of support staff. This role offers the opportunity to lead and develop the clinical team while helping to shape the future direction of the hospital.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
