Our client is a hospital that is hiring a full-time Medical Director to join its full-service small animal clinic. Caring for cats and dogs, with the opportunity to treat exotics, the practice is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate medicine alongside exceptional client communication.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As Medical Director, you will be responsible for the full scope of clinical and leadership responsibilities within the hospital. The role combines hands-on veterinary medicine with the opportunity to guide and develop the future direction of the practice. Clinical duties include general wellness and preventative care, sick visits, routine and advanced surgeries, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, and supportive care. Average appointment lengths and weekly caseloads are tailored to maintain quality patient care while helping to prevent burnout. In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to develop personal areas of interest including ultrasound, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, and exotics, while leading practice initiatives and supporting the continued growth of the hospital. This position is best suited to an experienced veterinarian seeking a balance of clinical practice, leadership, and professional development.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and is closed on weekends, supporting a healthy work-life balance. The practice provides a full scope of general practice services alongside urgent care, creating a varied and rewarding caseload. The hospital is well-equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment technology including, but not limited to, an in-house laboratory, digital dental X-ray, digital X-ray, and ultrasound equipment. Facilities include a dedicated dental suite and surgical suite, allowing the team to deliver comprehensive medical and surgical care in-house. The practice is committed to providing high-quality veterinary medicine while maintaining a compassionate and client-focused approach to patient care.

You will work alongside one DVM supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
