Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Medical Director / Co-Owner Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital sees cats and dogs and has built an outstanding reputation within the community.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This position combines standard general practice responsibilities with a genuine leadership opportunity. Alongside providing comprehensive GP care, you will help guide the hospital’s direction, build something that reflects your own standards and vision, and share in its success. This is a true partnership opportunity where you will play an active role in shaping the future of the hospital, rather than simply practicing within it. Doctor hours are open to discussion, with no weekend requirements. This opportunity is suited to experienced veterinarians only.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and is closed at weekends. It is a well-equipped, state-of-the-art facility that is both AAHA-accredited and Fear Free certified. The practice offers a full scope of general practice services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry, alongside urgent care services and orthopedics.
Team
The hospital is supported by two DVMs and a great team of support staff.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
