Our client is a hospital hiring a full-time Medical Director to lead an AAHA-accredited small animal practice caring for cats and dogs. Since 1958, the hospital has been committed to delivering a high standard of veterinary care while serving its community with excellence. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership while continuing to practise high-quality veterinary medicine across a broad and challenging caseload. The role offers the opportunity to utilise a full range of clinical skills while mentoring and supporting the veterinary team, maintaining high medical standards, and helping drive the continued success of the hospital. The practice is open to discussing a schedule that works for both the successful candidate and the hospital. This opportunity is best suited to an experienced veterinarian who is ready to lead a collaborative team while continuing to grow professionally.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, remaining closed on Tuesdays and weekends. Services range from proactive wellness and preventative care to advanced surgical procedures and state-of-the-art diagnostics. The practice also offers canine rehabilitation, urgent care services, and vaccine clinics. For complex emergency cases outside of regular hours, established after-hours referral protocols ensure continuity of care. The hospital is equipped with x-ray, ultrasound, tonometry, laboratory testing capabilities, and laser therapy to support the delivery of high-quality veterinary medicine.

Team
The team consists of 6 DVMs supported by a fantastic team of support staff, creating a collaborative environment where teamwork, mentorship, and clinical excellence are central to delivering outstanding patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
