Our client is a hospital looking to hire a full-time Medical Director. Treating cats and dogs, the hospital has earned an excellent 4.6-star Google rating and offers an exciting opportunity to lead a well-established team committed to delivering high-quality veterinary care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role covers the full scope of Medical Director responsibilities, combining clinical leadership with hands-on veterinary medicine. You’ll provide preventative, medical, and surgical care for cats and dogs while leading the clinical team, maintaining high medical standards, supporting and mentoring colleagues, and helping drive the continued success of the hospital. You’ll perform routine examinations, diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions, develop treatment plans, carry out surgical procedures, and build strong relationships with clients through compassionate communication. Specific working hours will be discussed during the interview process.

Practice Details
The hospital provides the full scope of GP services, including Orthopedics. It also offers laser therapy and laser surgery. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic equipment including, but not limited to, Digital Radiology, Ultrasound, and a Tonopen. As an AAHA Accredited hospital, it is committed to maintaining high standards of veterinary care. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays.

Team
You’ll be leading a team of 3 DVMs, supported by a passionate and highly experienced team of certified technicians, veterinary assistants, and client service representatives. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
