Our client is a hospital for Cats and Dogs that is hiring a Full-Time Lead Veterinarian. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Lead Veterinarian will practice gold-standard medicine while leading and mentoring a high-performing medical team within a collaborative clinical environment. This role offers autonomy to influence clinic culture, guide clinical standards, and support the ongoing development of the hospital and its medical team. If you are a collaborative and forward-thinking leader who is passionate about modern veterinary medicine and building something meaningful, this opportunity provides the platform to make a lasting impact within a growing practice environment. The role includes exposure to a varied caseload across GP, urgent care, and emergency services, with a strong emphasis on surgery and dentistry. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of clinical experience alongside previous leadership or mentorship experience and will be experienced in and enthusiastic about performing surgeries and dental procedures. The schedule offers a flexible 3–4 day workweek consisting of 10–12 hour shifts with no overnight responsibilities, supporting strong work-life balance.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a full scope of GP, Urgent Care, and ER services within a modern and well-equipped facility designed to support efficient workflow and high standards of patient care. Operating 365 days a year, generally from 8:00am to 8:00pm, the hospital provides extended access to veterinary services while creating a varied caseload across wellness, urgent care, and emergency medicine. The modern practice environment supports collaboration between veterinarians and support staff, allowing doctors to focus on delivering high quality medicine within a fast-paced but team-oriented setting. The hospital’s broad service offering and extended operating hours provide excellent exposure to a diverse caseload while supporting the continued growth and development of both the practice and its medical team.

The practice is supported by a highly skilled nursing team with a 3:1 nurse-to-DVM ratio, ensuring strong support for veterinarians and optimal patient care. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
