Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring a full-time Medical Director to lead a collaborative small animal practice providing comprehensive care for dogs and cats. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced veterinarian seeking a leadership role within an AAHA-accredited hospital supported by advanced technology, an experienced team, and a long-standing reputation within the community.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will oversee medical quality while continuing to provide high-quality veterinary care including wellness medicine, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. Responsibilities include mentoring team members, supporting collaboration within the hospital, building strong client relationships, and helping guide the continued growth and success of the practice. The role is suited to an experienced veterinarian who enjoys leadership, teamwork, and delivering compassionate patient care within a supportive clinical environment.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited small animal hospital has served the community for more than 90 years and is equipped with advanced technology including hands-free radiology, mobile ultrasound capabilities, AFAST/TFAST ultrasound, in-house laboratory and pharmacy services, dental radiography, and surgical facilities. The practice also has access to a mobile orthopedic surgeon and Fear Free certified staff. Services include preventive care, wellness exams, vaccinations, dentistry, general surgery, internal medicine, radiology, hospitalization, pain management, geriatric medicine, intensive care, allergy care, spays and neuters, and feline hyperthyroidism management. Operating hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, and Sunday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
