Introduction
Our client is a hospital that is hiring a Medical Director on a full-time basis. This well-established 4-doctor practice has proudly served the local area for over 30 years. Providing companion animal care with optional exotic cases, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to step into a leadership role while remaining actively involved in clinical practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves the full scope of Medical Director responsibilities within a hybrid leadership and clinical role. You will work primarily as a practicing veterinarian while helping guide medical standards, mentoring newer doctors, and partnering with hospital leadership to support team development and maintain a high standard of patient care. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian looking to combine hands-on medicine with leadership responsibilities.

Practice Details
The hospital is open seven days a week from 8:00am to 8:00pm. Services include a full scope of GP services and Urgent Care, providing a varied companion animal caseload with optional exotic cases. The practice is equipped with, but not limited to, ultrasound and digital radiology. Facilities include a spacious 5,600-square-foot layout designed to optimise treatment flow and patient care, along with a dedicated dental suite. The team includes Fear Free trained members. Additional services include Laser Therapy. In 2018, the hospital transitioned from emergency care to focus on urgent and general veterinary services, evolving to meet the needs of the community.

You will be joining a team of 4 DVMs supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. Together, the team works seamlessly to deliver exceptional patient care and client service while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
