Job Description
Introduction
Our client is seeking a Medical Director to lead a respected, AAHA accredited small animal hospital in Centennial, Colorado within the Denver metro area. The practice is known for high quality medicine, gold standard care and strong client trust within the local community.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. This daytime schedule offers a strong foundation for work life balance, with after hours and holiday emergencies supported through the Denver location.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will lead the clinical team while also practicing as a veterinarian within the hospital. Responsibilities include mentoring veterinarians, maintaining high medical standards, supporting team development and working closely with the Practice Manager to drive strong patient care and hospital performance.
Practice Details
This AAHA accredited hospital is a general practice focused on small animal medicine. Services include wellness exams, vaccinations, radiographs, dentistry, in house laboratory testing, pharmacy support and outpatient surgery, with a clear emphasis on gold standard care.
Team
The practice is supported by 2 veterinarians alongside skilled technicians and dedicated support staff who work together to deliver a collaborative standard of care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
