Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that has served the Cedar Park community since 2005 and is hiring for a full-time Medical Director Veterinarian position. The hospital sees cats and dogs and is seeking an experienced veterinarian to lead the team while continuing to provide high-quality patient care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director Veterinarian will be responsible for a full scope of general practice responsibilities alongside leadership duties within the hospital. The role will involve providing comprehensive veterinary care while supporting and guiding the clinical team. The position is open to experienced veterinarians, and doctor hours are open to discussion.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a full scope of GP services, including orthopedics and urgent care. The practice is well-equipped to support a varied caseload. Hospital hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6pm, Saturday from 8am to 12pm, and closed on Sundays.

Team
The hospital currently has a team of 4 DVMs supported by a collaborative support staff team, creating a team-oriented working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
