Our client is a hospital looking to hire a full-time Medical Director. Treating cats and dogs, the hospital has earned a 4.7-star Google rating and offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to lead a well-established practice while continuing to provide high-quality patient care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role covers the full scope of Medical Director responsibilities, combining clinical leadership with hands-on veterinary medicine. You’ll oversee the medical direction of the hospital while providing preventative, medical, and surgical care for cats and dogs, supporting the veterinary team, and maintaining high standards of patient care. Specific working hours will be discussed during the interview process. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The hospital provides the full scope of GP services, including Orthopedics and Oncology services. It also provides laser therapy and pet rehabilitation. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic equipment including, but not limited to, Digital Radiology, a Tonopen, and Ultrasound. The hospital is AAHA Accredited, a Fear Free Certified® Practice, and a Cat Friendly Certified® Practice. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays.

Team
You’ll be joining a team of 3 DVMs, supported by a passionate and highly experienced team of certified technicians, veterinary assistants, and client service representatives. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
