Our client is a hospital that is hiring a full-time Medical Director to lead its veterinary team while continuing to provide exceptional patient care. Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves undertaking the full scope of Veterinary Medical Director responsibilities while serving as the clinical leader of the hospital. The successful candidate will provide high-quality medical care, mentor and support fellow veterinarians, help guide clinical standards, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice. This is an opportunity to combine clinical leadership with hands-on medicine while enjoying the support of an experienced team, a loyal client base, and the autonomy to practice medicine your way. Flexible scheduling supports work-life balance, with no weekend commitments. The role is suited to an experienced veterinarian with previous small animal practice experience and confidence performing routine soft tissue surgery.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm and is closed on weekends, supporting an excellent work-life balance. Providing a full scope of GP services and Urgent Care, the practice offers a varied companion animal caseload. The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic technology including, but not limited to, Digital Dental X-Ray, Digital X-Ray, Ultrasound, and an In-House Laboratory, supporting efficient diagnosis and treatment across a wide range of cases.

Team
You will be leading a team of 3 DVMs, supported by 9 dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. The hospital is led by a supportive leadership team focused on the success and well-being of its associates, fostering a collaborative culture built on teamwork, communication, and professional growth. Together, the team works seamlessly to deliver exceptional patient care and client service while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
