Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive veterinary care for dogs, cats, and exotics. They are seeking an experienced Medical Director Veterinarian to join the hospital in a full-time leadership position. The role combines veterinary medicine with clinical leadership, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and an exceptional client experience.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director Veterinarian will maintain the highest standards of patient care and client experience while driving continuous improvement in clinical skills and hospital performance. Responsibilities include reviewing hospital P&L and partnering with medical and operations leaders to improve performance, efficiency, and quality of care. Clinically, the role includes routine, diagnostic, and complex procedures such as radiographs, ultrasounds, dental extractions and prophylaxis, spays and neuters, abdominal exploratory procedures, and mass removals. The Medical Director will practice autonomous medicine, build relationships with pet parents, and model respect and empathy. This full-time position is specifically for an experienced veterinarian and has no on-call, late-night, or overnight shifts.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with cloud-based practice management and medical records software, digital and dental X-ray, IDEXX technology, Butterfly iQ+ handheld ultrasound, radiograph interpretation AI, a Doppler blood pressure system, and digital cytology technology. Services include routine examinations, comprehensive bloodwork, disease screening, behavioral and anxiety evaluations, nutritional consultations, dentistry, surgery consultations, vaccinations, microchipping, sick care, dermatology-related conditions, allergy care, wound care, dental and oral trauma care, diagnostic imaging, parasite prevention, heartworm and tick-borne disease testing, deworming, and fecal testing. The hospital is open Monday and Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and is closed Friday through Sunday. The Medical Director is supported by local medical leaders and a team of licensed and trained veterinary technicians and assistants. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
