Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Lead Veterinarian. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Lead Veterinarian will oversee the clinical direction of the hospital while continuing to provide high-quality medical, surgical, dental, and preventative care for companion animals. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining medical standards for wellness care, anesthesia, surgery, diagnostics, pain management, dentistry, and medical recordkeeping. The role also includes leading the clinical team, ensuring consistent patient and client care, maintaining accurate medical records and charge capture, implementing new clinical services, mentoring associate veterinarians, assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of veterinarians and technicians, supporting continuing education and professional development, and fostering a collaborative and innovative workplace culture. In addition, the Lead Veterinarian will contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, financial performance, regulatory compliance, marketing initiatives, and community engagement. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional veterinary care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
