Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Tuesday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Wednesday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Thursday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm, and closed on Sunday.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director provides clinical leadership and oversight within the hospital, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, medical quality, and professional practice. Responsibilities include guiding and supporting veterinarians in case management and clinical decision-making, establishing and maintaining medical protocols, and promoting evidence-based medicine across the team. The Medical Director oversees quality assurance initiatives, fosters a collaborative and positive hospital culture, and works closely with hospital leadership to support operational goals and strategic growth. This role may include providing direct patient care, mentoring associate veterinarians, supporting continuing education, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. The Medical Director maintains strong communication with clients and staff, drives clinical excellence, and upholds the hospital’s mission and core values.

Practice Details
Equipment includes an in-house laboratory and radiology capabilities. Facilities support a full spectrum of services including hospitalization, surgery, pharmacy, and farm call services. The hospital offers wellness exams, spay and neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, dental care, nutrition, acute injury care, pain management, reproductive counseling, and lifestyle management. The practice is AAHA Accredited and provides a stable, resource-supported environment that prioritizes professional growth.

The hospital has 3 DVMs working within a collaborative environment supported by a broader network that offers structured career pathways and professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
