Our client is a hospital hiring a full-time Medical Director for a small animal practice. This is an opportunity to lead a well-established, progressive, and fast-paced hospital dedicated to providing high-quality veterinary care across a broad range of medical services. The hospital is seeking an experienced veterinarian with strong leadership skills who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while guiding and supporting a collaborative team environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will oversee medical quality and clinical standards while continuing to provide comprehensive veterinary care to small animal patients. Responsibilities include performing wellness and preventive care, surgery, urgent care, dentistry, diagnostics, and client education while supporting team development and maintaining a collaborative hospital culture. The role also includes helping guide medical protocols and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care across all services. This opportunity is best suited for an experienced veterinarian looking to combine clinical practice with leadership responsibilities.

Practice Details
This progressive small animal hospital provides a wide range of services including wellness care, vaccinations, surgery, urgent care, high-speed dentistry, cryotherapy, in-house diagnostics, K-Laser therapy, acupuncture, nutritional counseling, senior pet care, parasite prevention, and microchipping. The hospital operates in a fast-paced environment focused on comprehensive and compassionate patient care. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.

The hospital is supported by 3 DVMs and a great tenured support team. The culture is collaborative, team-oriented, and focused on delivering high-quality medicine while supporting professional growth and strong patient care standards.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
