Introduction
Our client is a practice seeking a full-time Medical Director Veterinarian. This full-service small animal practice provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats and is looking for an experienced veterinarian to lead its clinical team while continuing to deliver high-quality patient care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As Medical Director, you will combine clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, providing high-quality medical care while mentoring veterinarians and support staff. You will deliver wellness, preventative, medical, dental, and surgical care, including soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, while supporting clinical excellence throughout the practice. The role also involves providing clinical and administrative guidance, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting strategic planning and growth initiatives alongside the Practice Manager and Regional Operations Manager, and fostering a collaborative culture focused on exceptional patient care and professional development. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The practice is a long-standing, full-service small animal hospital with state-of-the-art surgical suites, advanced diagnostics, and modern veterinary equipment. Services include wellness and preventative care, vaccinations, dentistry, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, spaying and neutering, laser therapy, radiography, ultrasonography, in-house laboratory testing, dermatology, boarding and daycare, grooming, online pharmacy, emergency services, and end-of-life care. The practice has an established and loyal client base and promotes a client-centred, progressive approach to veterinary medicine with a strong focus on leadership and growth. Hospital hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, Saturday from 7:30 AM–1:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
