Our client is a hospital that is hiring a full-time Medical Director to join its established veterinary team. Caring for dogs, cats, pocket pets, and more, this AAHA-accredited and Fear Free Certified practice has proudly served the surrounding community for over 25 years. This is an outstanding opportunity for a veterinarian seeking a leadership position within a progressive hospital.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As Medical Director, you will be responsible for the full scope of clinical and leadership responsibilities within the hospital. This role offers the opportunity to help guide and mentor a talented and dedicated team while maintaining an active clinical caseload and delivering excellent medical care. Strong surgical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to inspire and develop others are essential for success in this position. You will play a key role in supporting medical excellence, fostering a positive team culture, and ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality veterinary medicine and client service.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on the first and third Saturday of each month, while remaining closed on Sundays. The practice provides a full scope of general practice services alongside urgent care, creating a diverse and rewarding caseload. The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic technology including, but not limited to, ultrasound, digital radiology, digital dental radiology, and a new IDEXX in-house laboratory. Recently relocated into a beautiful newly built facility, the hospital has been thoughtfully designed with both patients and team members in mind. Additional features include cloud-based patient tracking systems, separate dental and surgical suites, and modern clinical workflows that support efficient, high-quality patient care. As an AAHA-accredited and Fear Free Certified practice, the hospital is committed to maintaining exceptional standards of veterinary medicine while creating a positive experience for patients, clients, and team members alike.

Team
You will join a team of two DVMs supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. Together, the team works cohesively to provide the highest level of client and patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
