A well-established, 24-hour hybrid general practice, emergency, and specialty hospital in Westchester County is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Specialty Medical Director. This role provides an outstanding opportunity for a motivated veterinary specialist to transition into leadership while continuing to practice high-quality medicine. The position involves setting the hospital’s medical direction, ensuring excellence in patient care, and working alongside a talented team of professionals. This hospital features multiple specialty disciplines, including Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, Dermatology, and Cardiology. The ER and support staff have significant tenure, with many members serving for over a decade. The facility is well-equipped with 11 exam rooms, three surgery suites, digital radiology, digital dental radiology, a CT scanner, ultrasound, endoscopy, an in-house laboratory, advanced monitoring, a ventilator, and state-of-the-art oxygen cages.
