Introduction
Our client is a practice hiring for a Medical Director position. This is a general practice providing comprehensive veterinary care for companion animals, and is seeking an experienced veterinary leader to guide clinical excellence, support team development, and deliver outstanding patient and client care.

Working Hours / Rota
The practice operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a full-time position. After-hours, emergency, or weekend coverage requirements are to be discussed with the practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role is open to experienced veterinarians only. Clinical responsibilities include delivering high-quality wellness, sick-patient care, surgery, and dentistry while maintaining exceptional medical standards. As Medical Director, the veterinarian will lead by example, practicing with full medical autonomy while supporting long-term client relationships and excellent patient outcomes. The role emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on fostering a positive team culture and supporting professional growth across the practice.

Practice Details
The practice maintains a manageable average daily patient volume of approximately 16 cases per day, allowing for thoughtful, high-quality medicine. The case mix includes wellness care, sick-pet appointments, surgery, and dentistry. Technology and equipment include digital x-ray, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory capabilities, supporting efficient diagnostics and treatment. The practice culture is collaborative, supportive, and skilled, with a strong emphasis on medical autonomy, robust operational support, and delivering exceptional care to the Beaumont community and surrounding areas. Services offered include wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, diagnostics and imaging, spay and neuter procedures, parasite prevention, deworming, pet surgery, nutrition and diet counseling, and advanced surgical services.

Team
The practice operates with a 2:1 support staff-to-doctor ratio, supported by skilled technicians, dedicated client service representatives, and a strong leadership presence. The environment is collaborative and mentoring-focused, designed to help both patients and team members thrive.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
