Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs and cats and is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian looking to practice high-quality small animal medicine in a collaborative environment with a strong focus on advanced surgical procedures, evidence-based medicine, and exceptional patient care. The hospital is committed to supporting professional development through continuing education, mentorship, and access to specialty consultations.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for a diverse small animal caseload, including wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, advanced surgical procedures, and client education. Responsibilities include building lasting relationships with clients, developing treatment plans, communicating medical recommendations, and working collaboratively with the veterinary and paraprofessional teams to deliver outstanding patient care. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage complex cases with the support of internal specialty consultations and collaborative case reviews while contributing to a positive and supportive hospital culture. This role is open to experienced veterinarians.
Practice Details
This well-established small animal hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats, with a strong emphasis on advanced medicine and surgery. Services include wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, advanced medical care, surgical procedures, internal medicine, oncology, pain management, cardiology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, endocrinology, acupuncture, laser therapy, behaviour therapy, and a wide range of soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, including CCL repair, mass removal, spays and neuters, dental surgery, and anesthesia. The hospital is supported by a network of specialty consultants, allowing veterinarians to collaborate on complex cases while continuing to expand their clinical knowledge. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
