Introduction
This soon-to-open companion animal hospital in Avondale, Arizona is looking for a Lead Veterinarian to help establish the practice from the ground up. Role Description and Responsibilities
As Lead Veterinarian, you’ll spend the majority of your time providing exceptional medical care while also helping guide the clinical direction of the hospital. You’ll perform wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and client education while supporting the development of Associate Veterinarians through mentorship and case collaboration. You’ll work closely with the Hospital Operations Manager to recruit and onboard new team members, establish clinical protocols, promote continuous learning, and help create a positive, high-performing workplace where both patients and people thrive.

Practice Details
Opening soon, this purpose-built hospital has been designed to support modern companion animal medicine with advanced equipment, contemporary diagnostics, and efficient workflows. Doctors are encouraged to practise with a high level of clinical autonomy while being supported by experienced technicians and a collaborative leadership team. As one of the founding veterinarians, you’ll have the opportunity to influence how the hospital grows, introduce new ideas, and help build a practice centred around exceptional patient care and an outstanding client experience.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
