Introduction
Our client is a hospital that is hiring for a Specialty Medical Director position. This is a cats and dogs hospital, and the role focuses on leading within a multi-specialty and emergency environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open 24/7. This is a full-time position, and doctor hours are open to discussion.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Specialty Medical Director will be responsible for leadership duties alongside some clinical coverage. This role is open to experienced veterinarians only, and board-certified veterinary specialists, experienced ER veterinarians, veterinarians with military leadership, veterinarians with animal health leadership, or veterinarians with equivalent experience are ideal.

This is an advanced, collaborative multi-specialty and 24/7 emergency hospital. It is be supplied with state-of-the-art equipment and designed as a functional and comfortable space, creating an environment that supports both high-quality care and a positive working experience. ER doctors and specialists work together to provide a comprehensive experience for clients and their pets. The services offered include ER and specialty care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
