Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Medical Director to join their team. Caring for cats and dogs, this small animal hospital combines advanced medical technology with a strong focus on patient care, clinical excellence, and team development. Role Description and Responsibilities
As Medical Director, you will ensure the highest standards of patient care and client experience while fostering a respectful, supportive, and collaborative workplace culture. You will lead clinical excellence within the hospital, drive continuous improvement in medical standards, and partner with medical and operations leadership to enhance hospital performance, efficiency, and quality of care. Clinical responsibilities include performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating disease, delivering preventative healthcare, developing diagnostic and treatment plans, maintaining accurate medical records, and building strong relationships with pet owners through compassionate communication. You will also perform routine and advanced procedures including radiography, ultrasound, dental prophylaxis and extractions, spays and neuters, abdominal exploratory surgeries, and mass removals. The role includes mentoring team members, supporting professional development, reviewing hospital performance metrics, and promoting a culture of accountability, empathy, and exceptional patient care. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
This hospital is equipped with advanced veterinary technology including cloud-based practice management and medical record software, digital radiography, dental radiography, Idexx diagnostics, Butterfly iQ+ handheld ultrasound, Vetology Radiograph Interpretation AI, VMED Vet-Dop2 Doppler Blood Pressure System, and VETSCAN IMAGYST. The hospital supports a wide range of routine, diagnostic, and surgical procedures, including radiographs, ultrasounds, dental procedures, spays and neuters, abdominal exploratory surgeries, and mass removals. Veterinarians benefit from paid continuing education, leadership training, clinical autonomy, and access to local medical leadership support. Additional benefits include flexible scheduling, open time off, and no on-call responsibilities. Hospital hours are Sunday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
