Working Hours / Schedule
This is a full-time or part-time position with a rotating schedule. The practice is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will provide high-quality care for canine and feline patients while leading a small, supportive team. Responsibilities include medical leadership, mentorship, patient care, and collaboration with staff to maintain the highest standards of clinical excellence. This position is ideal for veterinarians who value mentorship, teamwork, and creating a positive, supportive environment for both staff and clients.

Practice Details
Our client’s practice is AAHA-certified and deeply rooted in its community, offering strong, long-term relationships with a robust client base. The practice focuses exclusively on canine and feline care and emphasizes hands-free radiographs and fear-free procedures. Each doctor is supported by two technicians during appointments and three technicians in surgery. The practice is located near two sister hospitals, allowing clients to seek additional support and associates to further their experience and education. By adhering to the highest standards of veterinary excellence, our client ensures patients receive care based on the most up-to-date medical information and methods.

Team
You will work closely with one full-time doctor, supported by a dedicated team of technicians and occasional relief staff. The culture is collaborative, supportive, and mentorship-focused, providing an environment where staff and patients thrive while maintaining exceptional standards of care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
