Introduction
Our client is a well-established veterinary hospital based in Andalusia, Alabama, that has proudly served the community since 1974. They are seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. This full-service hospital cares for dogs, cats, pocket pets, and horses, offering both routine and advanced medical care, as well as emergency cases. Alongside veterinary services, they also provide boarding and grooming, making them a trusted, one-stop resource for local pet owners.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm, with no weekend hours required. The role is offered on a full-time basis, though flexibility may be available for the right candidate.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care while developing trusted relationships with pet owners. Daily duties will include physical examinations, surgery, dentistry, urgent and preventative care, and client education. This role also carries leadership responsibilities, including monitoring associate doctors, supporting financial performance, and developing the paraprofessional team. Applicants must be proficient in surgery and have at least three years of veterinary experience, with leadership or management experience preferred. This position is best suited to experienced veterinarians seeking to make a meaningful impact in both patient care and team development.

Practice Details
The hospital provides comprehensive services including wellness and prevention, diagnostics, surgical procedures, urgent care, cardiology, ophthalmology, endocrinology, orthopedics, and large animal services. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
