Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Medical Director Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital sees dogs and cats and is looking for an experienced veterinarian to provide high-quality patient care while leading the clinical team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role combines the full scope of general practice responsibilities with leadership duties. The Medical Director Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high standards of patient care across wellness, medical, and surgical cases while supporting and guiding the clinical team. Doctor hours are open to discussion. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and Saturdays from 7:30 am to 11 am. The practice is fully equipped with six exam rooms, a modern surgical suite, an in-house laboratory and pharmacy, digital radiography including dental radiography, ultrasound, and specialized patient care areas including oxygen kennels, heated recovery spaces, feline-only areas, and isolation facilities. The hospital is also a Cat Friendly Practice and offers a full range of GP services, as well as urgent care and orthopedics.

Team
The hospital currently has one DVM supported by a great team of support staff.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
