Role Description and Responsibilities
As Medical Director, you will be responsible for the full scope of Medical Director responsibilities while maintaining an active clinical presence within the hospital. As the Medical Lead Veterinarian, you will serve as the champion of medical excellence, setting the standard for clinical quality and patient care throughout the practice. You will be responsible for mentoring and developing associate veterinarians, partnering closely with the Practice Manager to build a healthy and engaged team, and driving the continuous improvement of patient care and client service. This key leadership position offers the opportunity to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth while ensuring the hospital continues to deliver exceptional veterinary medicine. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of practical clinical experience, with specific working hours to be discussed during the interview process.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, remaining closed on Sundays. As an AAHA-accredited facility, the practice is committed to maintaining high standards of patient care, safety, and clinical excellence. The hospital provides both comprehensive general practice and urgent care services, creating a diverse and engaging caseload across multiple species, including cats, dogs, pocket pets, and rabbits. Equipment available includes, but is not limited to, a Tonopen, ultrasound, digital radiography, and digital dental radiography, supporting efficient diagnostics and high-quality patient care. In addition to its core medical services, the practice also offers acupuncture, behavior therapy, and laser therapy, providing clients with a broad range of treatment options. The combination of modern diagnostic capabilities, extended operating hours, and a strong community reputation creates an excellent environment for a Medical Director to lead both clinically and strategically.

The hospital is home to a team of six DVMs supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
