Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital that is hiring a full-time Medical Director to lead and support a growing veterinary team while continuing to provide exceptional patient care. Caring for cats and dogs, this well-established practice has earned an excellent 4.5-star Google rating and offers an exciting leadership opportunity within a collaborative and patient-focused environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As Medical Director, you will undertake the full scope of Medical Director responsibilities while serving as the clinical leader of the hospital. As the Medical Lead Veterinarian, you will champion medical excellence, mentor and develop associate veterinarians, partner with the Practice Manager to build a healthy and engaged team, and drive the continuous improvement of patient care and client service. This key leadership position offers the opportunity to set the standard for clinical quality, foster a culture of collaboration and growth, and help shape the future success of the hospital. Candidates should be experienced veterinarians with a minimum of 2 years of practical clinical experience. Specific working hours are to be discussed.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. Providing a full scope of GP services, the practice also offers services including, but not limited to, Urgent Care and Orthopedics, creating a varied and engaging caseload. The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic technology including, but not limited to, Digital X-Ray, Digital Dental X-Ray, and Ultrasound, enabling efficient diagnosis and treatment across a wide range of medical and surgical cases. In addition, the practice provides laser therapy, further enhancing the range of treatment options available to patients. The hospital combines quality medicine, modern equipment, and a strong commitment to patient care within a supportive clinical setting.

You will be working alongside 2 DVMs and supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. The hospital is led by a supportive leadership team focused on the success and well-being of its associates, fostering a collaborative culture built on teamwork, communication, and professional growth. Together, the team works seamlessly to deliver exceptional patient care and client service while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
