Introduction
Our client is a large, multi-faceted veterinary practice seeking a full-time Medical Director to lead their team. This role offers the opportunity to shape the medical quality and direction of the practice while continuing to provide exceptional patient care. The practice is well-equipped with advanced facilities, a talented support team, and a strong focus on delivering compassionate, high-quality veterinary medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
The practice is open Monday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Tuesday and Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. The hospital is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a full-time position, though part-time may be considered.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will oversee the delivery of high-quality veterinary medicine, guide clinical protocols, and support the professional development of the veterinary team. Clinical duties include preventive care, diagnostics, advanced imaging, surgery, dentistry, dermatology, and pain management. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship available. The role also involves fostering strong client relationships and ensuring an excellent standard of patient care while collaborating closely with a dedicated support team.

Practice Details
The facility features twelve exam rooms, a wellness room, a large treatment room, multiple surgical suites, a separate ultrasound room, Snyder oxygen cages, surgical recovery areas, kennel and quarantine facilities, a quiet cat ward, and a sound DR digital radiography system. Additional equipment includes AFP imaging digital dental x-ray, tonometry, and hands-free radiology. The practice is AAHA accredited and incorporates Fear-Free principles when possible. Services span advanced care, diagnostics, preventive medicine, primary care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, endoscopy, CT scanning, ultrasonography, laser therapy, and oxygen and transfusion therapy. Team
The practice currently has one DVM supported by a skilled and dedicated support staff, creating a collaborative environment focused on mentorship, professional growth, and exceptional medical standards.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
