Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team in Germantown. The hospital provides a combination of primary and urgent care services for cats and dogs, delivering comprehensive, individualized care in a modern clinical environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This position offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time scheduling. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. It is closed on Sundays. There are no after-hours or overnight requirements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for a wide range of clinical duties, including wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care during open hours. Cases may include preventative care, dermatology, oncology diagnostics, spay/neuter procedures, growth removals, biopsies, abdominal explorations, and management of acute conditions such as vomiting, lacerations, ear infections, and poisoning. This role is best suited for an experienced veterinarian comfortable managing both routine and urgent cases.

The hospital is equipped to provide high-quality care across a broad clinical spectrum, offering services such as diagnostics, surgery, microchipping, senior pet care, nutritional counseling, oral health management, behavioral consultations, and travel documentation. The practice culture emphasizes proactive care and individualized treatment planning within a supportive, patient-focused environment.

Team
The team includes a group of experienced DVMs and a well-trained support staff. The work environment is collaborative and professional, with a shared goal of delivering top-tier veterinary care while fostering trust and communication with pet owners.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
