Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital in Cordova, Tennessee, seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their established and reputable practice. Since 1994, this hospital has delivered comprehensive, high-quality, and affordable veterinary care to the local community and is known for its commitment to clinical excellence and strong client relationships.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position structured around a four-day work week. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and every 1st and 3rd Saturday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The clinic is closed on Sundays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a broad caseload, providing care across wellness, internal medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, diagnostics, and urgent care. This role is best suited for an experienced veterinarian who is looking to expand their clinical skill set, with additional CE funds available for focus areas such as surgery, dental, ultrasound, and critical care.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with ultrasound, digital radiology, therapeutic laser, in-house lab suites, and an on-site pharmacy. It supports advanced surgical procedures, including both soft tissue and orthopedic cases. The practice culture emphasizes accessible, high-quality care and supports veterinarians with modern tools and a collaborative clinical environment.
Team
The clinic is home to two experienced DVMs and a dedicated support team. The environment is highly collaborative, with an experienced staff that contributes to efficient workflow and a positive team dynamic.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
