Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that, since 1997, has provided comprehensive veterinary care to pets in the McKinney community and beyond. They are hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, seeing cats and dogs.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with Sunday closed. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and the role can be either full-time or part-time.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will handle a full GP caseload, including surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, wellness, and some urgent care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is well-equipped and offers state-of-the-art testing and diagnostics, an array of advanced care, routine and advanced surgical procedures, and many other services to provide pets with the best possible care.

Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs and a brilliant team of support staff, including technicians and assistants.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
