Introduction
Our client is a hospital based in Rock County, Wisconsin, currently hiring for the position of Associate Veterinarian. This is a small animal practice that also provides care for avian and exotic species. The hospital has been serving the local community for over 25 years, offering a wide range of veterinary services in a professional and welcoming environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, with Sundays closed. The schedule offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care, including wellness exams, internal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. The hospital also offers services in senior pet care, puppy and kitten health, chiropractic therapy, and exotic animal care. The role is suited for veterinarians with at least one year of clinical experience who are committed to compassionate medicine and effective client communication.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a broad suite of services, including routine exams, vaccinations, internal medicine, dental procedures, emergency care, grooming, and boarding. Surgical offerings include soft tissue procedures, spays and neuters, c-sections, mass removals, orthopedic surgery, and dental surgery. The practice environment emphasizes a high standard of care and includes chiropractic therapy and services for exotic pets.

Team
The hospital is home to a team of seven DVMs working alongside experienced technicians and support staff. The culture is collaborative, with a focus on providing mentoring and maintaining a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
