Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their small animal practice in eastern Indianapolis, Indiana.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and every other Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. It is closed on Sundays. This role offers flexibility for full-time or part-time scheduling to support work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care including wellness care, dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, dermatology, nutrition consultations, digital and dental radiography, cold laser therapy, ultrasound, spay and neuter, vaccinations, routine bloodwork, and physical examinations. The hospital supports areas of interest such as dentistry and surgery and welcomes veterinarians who wish to expand skills in these areas. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with strong mentorship provided by the Chief of Staff.

Practice Details
The hospital operates in a brand-new, AAHA-accredited facility equipped with upgraded dental x-ray, IDEXX laboratory machines, digital x-ray, cold laser, ultrasound, surgical laser, and paperless, cloud-based practice management software. Services offered include extractions and oral surgery, allergy and dermatology care, cat-friendly handling, dental care and radiography, nutrition consultations, routine bloodwork, spay and neuter, surgery, wellness care, digital radiography, vaccinations, cold laser therapy, and physical examinations within a modern, family-centric, and tech-enabled environment.

Team
The hospital has two DVMs supported by a collaborative, mentoring-focused team environment that prioritizes high-quality, friendly, and knowledgeable care for pets while ensuring a supportive, positive culture for doctors and staff.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
