Job Description
The hospital is a full-service, newly remodeled, small animal hospital. The hospital is fully equipped with an in-house lab, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, a therapeutic laser, and a SonoScape ultrasound. They are paperless and are in the process of adding a CT scanner! Most importantly, they have a well-trained and well-utilized support staff. They are empowered to do everything they are trained to do. Each doctor is supported by at least 1-2 dedicated technicians per day, as well as “floating” technicians to fill in support where needed. Their doctors have a passion for surgery and perform a large variety of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries, orthopedic surgeries (including TTAs), and dentistry. Their high-quality medicine also includes in-clinic chemotherapy. Pre-operative lab work, IV catheters, and IV fluids are required for every anesthetic patient. They maintain a strong teamwork-focused environment by having twice-monthly all-team meetings and monthly departmental meetings. Their upcoming social activities include an all-staff holiday party and a movie night!
