Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital that provides care for cats and dogs. They are currently hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This position is focused on providing both general practice services and urgent care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, remaining closed on Sundays. The position offers flexible scheduling with options for either a 3-day or 4-day work week while still qualifying for full-time benefits.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing full general practice services along with urgent care. The role requires an experienced veterinarian and is not open to new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service general practice with some urgent care capabilities. It is a well-equipped facility designed to support comprehensive patient care.

Team
The medical team consists of one DVM supported by a 2:1 technician to doctor ratio, fostering a supportive and efficient working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
