Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital in Laguna Creek, CA seeking an Associate Veterinarian. Established in 1992, the hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care with a focus on integrity, honesty, and compassion. Services extend beyond cats and dogs, with tailored treatments also available for avian, exotic, and pocket pets.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am until 6:00pm and on Saturdays from 8:00am until 5:00pm.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role will include a wide range of clinical responsibilities such as wellness and preventive care, diagnostics, surgical procedures, dentistry, emergency services, and tailored care for avian and exotic species. The position is supported by a culture of mentorship and continuous learning within a collaborative environment.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, digital radiology, and modern surgical suites. Services offered include allergy and dermatology support, avian and exotic care, behavior, dentistry, diagnostics, euthanasia and end-of-life care, as well as comprehensive preventive medicine. The practice values collaboration, mentorship, and a commitment to high-quality, compassionate care.
Team
The hospital has three DVMs working within a supportive and collaborative team that prioritizes mentorship and professional growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
