Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that is currently hiring for a Veterinarian. They see small animals and offer a mix of general practice and urgent care cases.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Saturdays from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM, and closed on Sundays. As a part-time DVM, you’ll benefit from schedule flexibility, with the hospital currently needing coverage for approximately 22 hours per week, including Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Full-time hours may become available over time.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position includes full GP responsibilities. It is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinarian looking to join a supportive environment. The position offers flexible scheduling options and includes a mix of general practice and urgent care cases. You will have the chance to practice high-quality medicine and surgery while working closely with the skilled support staff. Your clinical expertise and passion for patient care will play a key role in the continued success of the clinic.

Practice Details
The hospital is well-equipped with digital radiology, ultrasound, tonometry, in-house blood analyzers, and electronic medical records. Services offered include Wellness Care, Dental Care, Surgical Services, Diagnostics, End of Life Care, Laboratory, Microchipping, Nutrition, Pharmacy, and Urgent Care.

Team
The hospital has 2 DVMs and a great support team. The environment is collaborative and provides excellent support.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
