Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian. The practice is a long-established, full-service hospital that has been serving its local community for over four decades and provides comprehensive veterinary care across a diverse range of species. The hospital values compassionate, high-quality medicine and offers an environment where veterinarians are supported, respected, and encouraged to grow professionally. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. Hospital hours are Monday from 9:00am to 7:00pm, Tuesday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday from 9:00am to 4:00pm, with the hospital closed on Sundays. The practice observes a daily lunch closure from 12:00pm to 1:30pm to allow for protected breaks. No on-call or holiday requirements are specified.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver high-quality medical, surgical, and wellness care to a varied patient population. Clinical responsibilities include preventive and diagnostic care, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, laser therapy, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, and end-of-life services. The role also offers exposure to exotic and farm animal cases, depending on the veterinarian’s interests and skill set. The Associate Veterinarian will work closely with the support team to provide compassionate, individualized care and contribute to a collaborative and growth-oriented practice culture. This position is suitable for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is a state-of-the-art, full-service facility equipped to handle a broad caseload. Services include preventive care, diagnostic care supported by modern diagnostic equipment, veterinary pet surgery ranging from routine procedures to emergency interventions, comprehensive dental services, laser therapy, wellness programs for puppies, kittens, and senior pets, and care for exotic and farm animals. The practice emphasizes early disease detection, thorough diagnostics, and tailored treatment plans to support long-term patient health. The hospital has a strong community focus and is actively involved in supporting local animal welfare initiatives.

Team
The veterinary team consists of two DVMs supported by a great and experienced support team. The environment is collaborative, mentoring-focused, and built around teamwork, with a strong staff-to-doctor ratio that allows veterinarians to focus on delivering excellent patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
