Our client is a modern and community-focused animal hospital seeking a dedicated Lead Veterinarian to guide their experienced team and help shape the hospital’s continued growth. Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, allowing for consistent scheduling and an excellent work-life balance with no weekend or after-hours requirements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Lead Veterinarian will be responsible for providing exceptional medical care while overseeing the hospital’s clinical standards and team performance. Daily duties include performing surgeries, wellness and illness exams, dental procedures, and diagnostic testing, as well as mentoring and supporting associate veterinarians and staff. The role also emphasizes client communication and education, ensuring each pet receives personalized and compassionate care. This position is open to experienced veterinarians or those seeking to advance into leadership, offering full support and autonomy to drive both clinical excellence and team development.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service, state-of-the-art facility designed to deliver efficient and high-quality veterinary medicine. Equipped with modern diagnostic technology including X-rays, dental imaging, and an in-house pharmacy, the practice offers a wide range of services such as urgent care, diagnostics, spay and neuter procedures, surgery, and senior pet care. The hospital also provides specialized reptile, avian, and pocket pet care, as well as compassionate end-of-life services. The team proudly serves both English and Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring clear communication and inclusivity for all pet owners. The hospital culture emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and continuous professional growth, backed by strong operational and clinical leadership.

Team
The hospital has 2 DVMs and a great support team who work together in a cooperative and respectful environment. With high technician-to-doctor ratios and a shared commitment to quality care, the team ensures a supportive, mentorship-focused setting that encourages both professional and personal growth.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
