Job Description
Introduction
Our client is an independently owned animal hospital in Redmond, Washington, known for its diverse caseload and strong focus on integrative medicine. They are currently seeking a veterinarian to join their team. While integrative medicine is a specialty area of the hospital, there is no expectation for incoming doctors to practice it unless desired. Mentorship is available in both integrative medicine and advanced soft tissue surgery for those with a particular interest.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm, and on Saturdays from 9am to 5pm. This schedule supports a balanced work-life dynamic for the veterinary team. The role is open to full-time applicants.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The incoming veterinarian will be encouraged to pursue a thorough and client-education–driven approach to case workups. Daily responsibilities include general practice appointments and surgeries, with opportunities for mentorship in areas such as GI and foreign body procedures, should the veterinarian express interest. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates seeking growth and support.
Practice Details
This hospital is equipped with advanced technology including digital X-ray, dental X-ray, cold laser therapy, and ultrasound, alongside a full surgical suite and in-house laboratory capabilities to support efficient, high-quality patient care. The clinic has three exam rooms and collaborates with visiting specialists to support complex case management, while the emphasis on integrative medicine complements a comprehensive offering of traditional veterinary services.
Team
The hospital is led by a practice owner who is passionate about mentorship and advanced clinical development. The team includes highly skilled and empowered support staff, creating an environment of collaboration and shared learning. The culture prioritizes thorough case management and strong client communication.
