Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a well-equipped small animal hospital seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join its team. The practice primarily treats cats and dogs but is open to expanding services to include exotics, pocket pets, or avian medicine depending on the doctor’s interests.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A typical full-time schedule consists of four weekdays and rotating half-Saturdays. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality care in areas such as wellness, dentistry, internal medicine, surgery, and client education. Appointments range from 20 to 40 minutes, allowing for thorough patient care and meaningful client interactions. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new or recent graduates, with mentorship available to support professional development.

Practice Details
The hospital is fully equipped with digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, tonometry, and in-house laboratory capabilities. The practice maintains a supportive and growth-oriented culture focused on high-quality medicine and work-life balance.

Team
The team includes a dedicated mentor veterinarian and a group of support staff, fostering a collaborative and mentoring-focused environment well-suited to both experienced doctors and those at the start of their careers.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
