Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a small animal veterinarian to join their established and modern veterinary practice. They are hiring for a Veterinarian to provide comprehensive care for dogs and cats within a recently expanded facility located at the base of Mount Shasta.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The role is full-time.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The veterinarian will provide full-service small animal care including wellness, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, dentistry, dermatology, oncology, radiology, ultrasound, laser therapy, spay/neuter procedures, and vaccinations. The position involves delivering high-quality medical and surgical care while contributing to a supportive, learning-focused team environment.
Practice Details
The practice operates within a modern, free-standing facility that was expanded in 2016. Equipment available includes an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and laser therapy. Services offered include general practice, surgical services, internal medicine, dentistry, dermatology, oncology, radiology, kitten and puppy care, pharmaceuticals, annual care, and other full-service small animal treatments. The hospital is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to ensure pets live long, healthy, and pain-free lives.
Team
The hospital has three DVMs supported by three skilled RVTs and dedicated assistants. The environment is collaborative and team-focused, with strong mentorship and management support to enhance high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
